Durham Alliance Association Social Club(DAASC)/Club 717 has a long history in Durham Region. Club 717 is a program which began in 1995 and has grown substantially into the dynamic establishment you see today. Club 717 as it's now known is actually Durham Alliance Association Social Club. Club 717 / DAASC is a not-for-profit organization providing a positive safe LGBT2Q community atmosphere where you can enjoy many social events. It is a place where you can feel embraced, accepted, safe and free to be who you are.
Durham Alliance Association Social Club started in 1987, incorporating May 10, 1990.
The Board of Directors of DAASC is a volunteer committee that is elected by our paid members to operate the establishment. The general "Staff" at Club 717, DJ's, bar staff are also volunteers and work hard so that their patrons have a great time and space to come be yourself. They do appreciate your gratitude for a job well done. The Board and Staff's dedication / love for DAASC and Club 717 has resulted in Club 717 becoming one of the longest running, safest and most respected programs in our area.
